What causes adenomyosis and how to prevent it

What causes adenomyosis? How to prevent adenomyosis?

The current research on the cause of adenomyosis is still unclear. It is generally believed that the invasion of endometrial and stromal cells into the myometrium is caused by the lack of underlying mucosa in the uterus.

According to current clinical research, there are roughly the following possibilities:

1. Abortion and cesarean section: Some women do not pay attention to family planning in their daily lives or pursue "perfect" cesarean section births. The uterine wall is damaged, causing the endometrial basal cells to invade the uterine myometrium along the damaged site and grow ectopically, leading to adenomyosis.

2. High estrogen: Adenomyosis is an estrogen-dependent disease. Studies have shown that the occurrence of adenomyosis is related to excessive estrogen in the patient's body. Some women like to eat some high-estrogen foods and supplements every day, such as donkey-hide gelatin, royal jelly, seafood, etc., which can easily lead to excessive estrogen in the body, promote the development of the endometrium to the myometrium, and induce adenomyosis.

3. Genetic factors: Since the occurrence of adenomyosis shows certain family clustering and genetic tendencies, studies have shown that the occurrence of adenomyosis is related to certain genetic factors.

4. Reproductive tract obstruction: Due to congenital or acquired diseases and other factors, some women cannot have their menstrual blood flow out smoothly. The increased intrauterine pressure causes the endometrium to dislocate into the myometrium, leading to adenomyosis.

In order to prevent adenomyosis, we should pay attention to a balanced diet, adjust our eating habits, pay attention to balanced nutrition, eat more protein-rich foods such as fish, meat, eggs, soy products and fresh vegetables rich in vitamins, eat foods containing iron, and avoid spicy, cold, high-fat and high-sugar foods.
