What is the cause of vulvar itching and excessive leucorrhea?

What causes vulvar itching and excessive vaginal discharge?

1. Vaginitis, Trichomonas or cocci infection are the main causes of vulvar itching and yellow leucorrhea. These conditions usually cause yellow discharge and itching symptoms.

2. Leucorrhea caused by chlamydia and mycoplasma infection will also appear yellow, accompanied by symptoms such as frequent urination and urgency. These symptoms are prone to occur when personal hygiene is not taken care of, during menstruation or when you have a cold. It is recommended to conduct a routine examination of leucorrhea to find out the cause and seek targeted treatment.

3. Normal leucorrhea is usually milky white, sometimes slightly yellowish, and it is normal if there is no discomfort. But if the leucorrhea is obviously yellow and accompanied by vulvar itching, it may be vaginitis. You need to go to the hospital for a laboratory test of leucorrhea as soon as possible to find out the cause of abnormal leucorrhea, that is, the specific cause of vaginitis, and then give corresponding treatment. Since there are many types of vaginitis, the required treatment methods and drugs are also different. Be sure to confirm the type of vaginitis pathogen after testing the leucorrhea and give corresponding treatment.

4. Normal female vaginal discharge should be transparent or milky white, with a small amount and no odor. If vaginal discharge increases and is accompanied by itching, it may be a symptom of vaginitis. You should go to the hospital for a gynecological examination in time, and remove pathogens based on the results of routine vaginal discharge examinations, and use symptomatic medications for treatment. Severe itchy vaginitis may be candidal vaginitis, and its discharge appears in a clot-like or tofu-like state. Vaginal irrigation can be used, and combined with clopidogrel suppositories or mycoplasma suppositories for treatment.
