What are the symptoms and signs of pelvic inflammatory disease?

In life, everyone is very familiar with gynecological diseases. The incidence of pelvic inflammatory disease is relatively high now. In fact, this disease is more common in married women. Especially when women suffer from pelvic inflammatory disease, the body will be seriously affected. So, what are the symptoms and signs of pelvic inflammatory disease?

Pelvic inflammatory disease signs and symptoms

1. Symptoms:

1. The systemic symptoms are not obvious, sometimes with low fever and easy fatigue. For patients with a long course of illness, symptoms of neurasthenia such as depression, general discomfort, and insomnia may occur. When the patient's resistance is poor, acute or subacute attacks are likely to occur.

2. Scar adhesions and pelvic congestion caused by chronic inflammation can cause lower abdominal swelling, pain and lumbar pain, which often worsens during fatigue, sexual intercourse and before and after menstruation.

3 Due to pelvic congestion, the patient may have increased menstruation; when ovarian function is impaired, there may be menstrual disorders; when the fallopian tubes are blocked by adhesions, it may cause infertility.

2. Physical signs: The uterus is often in a posterior position, with limited mobility or adhesions. If it is salpingitis, the thickened fallopian tubes on one or both sides of the uterus are in a cord-like shape and there is slight tenderness. If it is hydrosalpinx or tubo-ovarian cysts, the cysts are touched on one or both sides of the pelvic cavity, and the mobility is more limited. If it is pelvic connective tissue inflammation, there is flake thickening and tenderness on one or both sides of the uterus, and thickening, hardening and tenderness of the sacral ligaments.

The above introduces the symptoms and signs of pelvic inflammatory disease in detail. I hope to remind most married women that in life, we should learn as much as possible about pelvic inflammatory disease for your health.
