What are the signs of ovarian cysts?

The adverse symptoms of ovarian cysts have precursors, such as lower abdominal discomfort, abdominal mass, ascites, masculine characteristics, abdominal distension, etc. If a woman finds that she has these signs, she must go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

1. Lower abdominal discomfort

This is the earliest symptom of ovarian cysts, mainly manifested as swelling in the lower abdomen, accompanied by a feeling of falling. At the same time, pressing the abdomen will cause a little pain. Patients with ovarian cysts have abnormal menstrual cycles and occasionally experience symptoms such as difficulty breathing, loss of appetite, nausea, frequent urination, and difficulty urinating.

2. Abdominal mass

Patients with ovarian cysts will feel a lump in the lower abdomen, which can be pushed with the hands. At this time, if the patient with ovarian cysts does not have other complications or malignant lesions, it will only show a lump and be painless; if the patient has other complications or malignant lesions, the lump will produce symptoms such as tenderness or peritoneal irritation.

3. Ascites

Ascites is generally a symptom of malignant tumors, but some benign tumors can also cause this symptom, such as ovarian fibroma.

4. Masculinity

This symptom is more prominent, and patients with ovarian cysts will find that their hair will become stronger, their voice will continue to thicken, and they will also have clitoral hypertrophy and other male characteristics, which are formed by the influence of ovarian cysts.

5. Abdominal distension

If the female patient's condition is serious, she may experience adverse symptoms such as extreme abdominal swelling, which may cause serious mental distress to the child. There may also be some situations such as the female patient becoming significantly thinner and the female patient's facial expression being very painful.
