How to treat cervical hypertrophy

How to treat cervical hypertrophy

Cervical hypertrophy can usually be treated with oral medications, topical medications, surgery, etc. Cervical hypertrophy may be caused by cervicitis, cervical gland cysts, etc.

Treatment of cervical hypertrophy:

1. Oral medication: If the patient with cervical hypertrophy has cervicitis, it is because chronic inflammation has long-term stimulated the cervix, leading to cervical congestion and edema, a pathological type caused by this condition. Usually, it is necessary to cooperate with the doctor to take oral antibiotics for treatment, such as penicillin V potassium tablets, cefixime dispersible tablets, azithromycin tablets, moxifloxacin hydrochloride tablets, etc.

2. Local medication: For patients with cervical hypertrophy caused by cervicitis, they can also use external medications such as Baofukang Suppositories, Kangfuling Suppositories, Metronidazole Suppositories, and Miconazole Nitrate Vaginal Soft Capsules for treatment under the guidance of a doctor.

3. Surgical treatment: For patients with cervical hypertrophy, it may also be caused by cervical gland cysts. Cervical gland cysts are cysts formed due to drainage obstruction of cervical gland secretions. If the cyst is deep in the cervix, it will cause cervical hypertrophy. When the cyst is large or discomfort occurs, such patients can go to the hospital for surgical drainage treatment under the doctor's operation, which can effectively prevent the aggravation of cervical hypertrophy symptoms.

Daily care for cervical hypertrophy:

Patients with cervical hypertrophy should pay attention to developing good personal hygiene habits, avoid high-risk sexual behaviors, and go to the hospital for gynecological examinations regularly.
