Determining whether pelvic effusion requires treatment

Determining whether pelvic effusion requires treatment

How to determine whether pelvic effusion requires treatment?

1. Pelvic effusion in women can be divided into two types based on the condition of the disease: physiological pelvic effusion and pathological pelvic effusion. Physiological pelvic effusion often occurs after female ovulation or in early pregnancy and usually disappears naturally. There is no need to worry or receive treatment.

2. Pathological pelvic effusion is mostly caused by pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis or endometriosis. The cause of pelvic inflammatory disease and adnexitis is mostly due to not paying attention to personal hygiene, such as premature sexual intercourse during menstruation or after abortion. Medical-induced infection caused by improper disinfection of artificial abortion and induced labor can also cause pelvic effusion.

3. Women with pelvic effusion must pay attention to it. If it is not cured in time, it will cause other gynecological diseases. A few cases are caused by ruptured ectopic pregnancy, pelvic abscess, chocolate cyst, corpus luteum rupture, and ovarian cancer. There is inflammatory exudate in the pelvis. If it is not treated, it can slowly increase. If there is too much pelvic effusion, it is not easy to eliminate it with medicine, and regular surgery is required for treatment.
