What is the cause of female endometrial thickening?

Endometrial thickening can occur at any age, including adolescence, reproductive years, perimenopause, or postmenopause. This age feature is of great reference significance for diagnosis and treatment. Patients under 40 years old should be cautious when diagnosing cancer, and the possibility of cancer should be alerted to elderly patients with severe hyperplasia.

Symptoms of menstrual disorders are one of the prominent symptoms of this disease, often manifested as irregular vaginal bleeding, thinning of menstruation, amenorrhea or heavy bleeding after a period of amenorrhea. It is called anovulatory blood. In addition to vaginal bleeding, infertility is the main symptom of anovulatory blood during the reproductive period. The diagnosis can be made based on clinical manifestations and histological examinations. Histological diagnostic methods include endometrial tissue scraping biopsy, uterine dilation and curettage, and negative pressure aspiration. Because atypical endometrial hyperplasia sometimes manifests as scattered focal lesions and sometimes coexists with endometrial adenocarcinoma, hysterectomy is performed after curettage or endometrial atypical hyperplasia is diagnosed, and 35% to 50% of patients are found to have endometrial adenocarcinoma. Therefore, the entire endometrial surface must be diagnosed.

Compared with endometrial biopsy, curettage is more comprehensive. However, it is still possible to miss some parts where the teeth have not reached, especially the bilateral angles and the uterine fundus. Vacuum suction has the effect of vacuum suction, which makes the endometrium fall off more completely and the diagnosis is more comprehensive and reliable. Therefore, among the three diagnostic methods, vacuum suction has the highest diagnostic accuracy. You can also make a specific choice based on the patient's specific situation.

I hope everyone can study and master it seriously, which is usually helpful for the prevention and treatment of endometrial hyperplasia. Through this article, we can understand that there are many causes of endometrial hyperplasia, and the symptoms of this disease are also different. In life, we should pay attention to discovering this disease in time, receiving treatment as soon as possible, and staying away from the harm of the disease.
