Is ectopic pregnancy hereditary?

Can ectopic pregnancy be inherited? The onset of ectopic pregnancy is related to fallopian tube inflammation, fallopian tube surgery, intrauterine contraceptive device placement, fallopian tube dysplasia or dysfunction, fertilized egg migration, and tumor compression around the fallopian tube. Many people are worried about the inheritance of ectopic pregnancy. So, can ectopic pregnancy be inherited?

The abnormal pregnancy process in which the fertilized egg implants and develops outside the uterine cavity is called "ectopic pregnancy", and tubal pregnancy is the most common. However, this disease is not hereditary and will not be inherited, but the harm it brings is very great, so pregnant mothers must do regular prenatal checkups.

Ectopic pregnancy is most common in the fallopian tube, and a few can also be seen in the ovary, cervix, etc. It means that the embryo does not implant in the uterus, but develops in other parts, and then the fallopian tube ruptures, causing heavy bleeding. This disease is very threatening to the mother's life. The more common causes of ectopic pregnancy are salpingitis and adhesions, such as chronic salpingitis, tuberculosis, endometriosis, etc.

The early symptoms of ectopic pregnancy can be easily confused with normal early pregnancy reactions. If a pregnant woman experiences amenorrhea and early pregnancy reactions within a short period of time, and sometimes has lower abdominal pain on one side, and an examination finds that the fallopian tube is swollen, an ectopic pregnancy should be suspected. Compared with normal menstruation, vaginal bleeding from ectopic pregnancy is different in the time, amount and duration of occurrence, and it can be detected by paying more attention.

There are many options for the treatment of ectopic pregnancy, which depends on the desire for fertility, the size and location of the ectopic pregnancy and the patient's physical condition. For those who are infertile, the fertility can be preserved to the maximum extent possible while saving the patient's life. If the ectopic pregnancy can be diagnosed in the early stage, that is, before the fallopian tube ruptures, and there is no desire for fertility, drug therapy is the best choice, which is less harmful to the patient and the body is easy to recover.
