Is ectopic pregnancy hereditary?

Is ectopic pregnancy hereditary? Ectopic pregnancy happens from time to time in life. The cause is often due to inflammation of the fallopian tube lumen or the surrounding area, which causes poor patency of the lumen, hinders the normal operation of the fertilized egg, causing it to stay, implant, and develop in the fallopian tube, leading to miscarriage or rupture of the fallopian tube pregnancy. So, is ectopic pregnancy hereditary?

Experts say that ectopic pregnancy is not hereditary, so you don't need to worry too much. Ectopic pregnancy refers to an abnormal pregnancy process in which the fertilized egg implants and develops outside the uterine cavity. There are often no obvious symptoms before miscarriage or rupture. There may also be amenorrhea, abdominal pain, and a small amount of vaginal bleeding. After rupture, there will be acute and severe abdominal pain, repeated attacks, vaginal bleeding, and even shock.

Examination often shows signs of intra-abdominal bleeding and a mass next to the uterus. Ultrasound examination can assist in diagnosis. Treatment is mainly surgical. While correcting shock, laparotomy and removal of the diseased fallopian tube are performed. If the purpose is to preserve fertility, the fallopian tube can also be cut to remove the fertilized egg. The early symptoms of ectopic pregnancy can easily be confused with normal early pregnancy reactions. If a pregnant woman has amenorrhea and early pregnancy reactions in a short period of time, and sometimes has lower abdominal distension and pain on one side, and examination finds that the fallopian tube is normal and enlarged, ectopic pregnancy should be suspected.

Although ectopic pregnancy is not hereditary, the harm it brings is very serious, so daily prevention is necessary. Reproductive system diseases should be treated promptly. Inflammation is the culprit for tubal stenosis. Intrauterine operations such as artificial abortion increase the chance of inflammation and endometrium entering the fallopian tube, which in turn leads to adhesion and stenosis of the fallopian tube, increasing the possibility of ectopic pregnancy.

Pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, delivery and puerperium to prevent infection of the reproductive system. Determine the location of pregnancy as soon as possible after menopause to detect ectopic pregnancy in time. Choose a time when both parties are in good mood and physical condition to get pregnant. If you are not considering becoming a mother for the time being, you must do a good job of contraception. Good contraception fundamentally prevents the occurrence of ectopic pregnancy.
