Porridge that can treat primary amenorrhea

Primary amenorrhea refers to the absence of menstruation in women aged 18 or above or after the secondary sexual characteristics have matured for more than 2 years. This disease is mainly treated conservatively, and eating porridge can treat this disease.

Longan porridge

Ingredients: 9g dried longan meat, 30g coix seed, 1 spoon of brown sugar.

Preparation method: Cook dried longan pulp and coix seeds into porridge, add 1 spoon of brown sugar and serve. Take 1 dose per day.

Efficacy: Strengthens the spleen, nourishes blood and regulates menstruation. It is mainly used to treat amenorrhea due to deficiency of qi and blood, scanty menstruation, prolonged menstruation and gradual amenorrhea, fatigue, pale complexion, dull hair color, pale tongue with little coating.

Pigeon meat, scallion and ginger porridge

Ingredients: 150g pigeon meat, 20g chopped green onion and ginger, 50g minced pork, 100g glutinous rice, 1g minced pepper, and 10g cooking wine.

Preparation method: Remove the bones of the pigeon meat, cut it into pieces, put it in a bowl, add pork, chopped green onion and ginger, cooking wine and salt, mix well and set aside. Wash the glutinous rice materials, add 1000ml of water to the pot, boil it, add the pigeon meat, etc., and add sesame oil, MSG and pepper powder when it becomes porridge.

Efficacy: nourishes the kidney and replenishes qi, dispels wind and detoxifies, and harmonizes blood and improves complexion. Suitable for patients with primary amenorrhea and amenorrhea due to blood deficiency.

Cyperus rotundus and peach kernel porridge

Ingredients: 5g peach kernel, 30g cyperus rotundus, 50g polished rice, 30g brown sugar.

Preparation method: decoct the Cyperus rotundus in water to extract the liquid, mash the peach kernels and soak them in water, grind the juice and remove the residue, put it into a casserole with polished rice, the decoction of Cyperus rotundus and brown sugar, add appropriate amount of water, and cook it into a thin porridge over a low heat. Eat it warm, twice a day, for several days.

Efficacy: Promotes qi circulation, activates blood circulation, and unblocks menstruation.

Barley and Lentil Porridge

Ingredients: 30g coix seed, 15g fried lentils, 15g hawthorn.

Preparation method: Put coix seed, lentil and hawthorn into a casserole, add water and cook porridge. After the porridge is done, add brown sugar for seasoning. Take once a day for 7 consecutive days.

Efficacy: Strengthens the spleen and eliminates dampness, removes blood stasis and promotes menstruation.
