Different types of vaginitis have different symptoms

Different types of vaginitis have different main symptoms.

1. Trichomonas vaginitis

The symptoms of patients with Trichomonas vaginitis are mainly abnormal leucorrhea, such as increased leucorrhea, milky white or yellow color, sometimes purulent and foamy leucorrhea with a foul odor, and even bloody leucorrhea in severe cases. Patients often have frequent urination, painful urination and hematuria.

2. Fungal vaginitis

Candidal vaginitis is mainly caused by fungal infection. Patients often show symptoms such as vulvar itching, vulvar and vaginal burning pain, increased leucorrhea and tofu dregs-like appearance, and some patients also have symptoms of frequent urination and painful urination. A general gynecological examination can show a white film attached to the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa of the patient. After wiping, the red and swollen mucosal surface will be exposed. In severe cases, there may even be damaged erosions or superficial ulcers.

3. Nonspecific vaginitis

Patients with nonspecific vaginitis often experience vaginal burning and a sense of falling, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue. In addition, vaginal discharge increases, is purulent and serous, and has a foul odor.

4. Senile vaginitis

The main symptoms of senile vaginitis are increased and watery leucorrhea, and in severe cases even purulent leucorrhea with a foul odor, sometimes accompanied by spotting. The vulva often feels itchy or burning and dry pain, and there is a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen. If the symptoms spread to the urethra, there will also be frequent, urgent, and painful urination.
