As for the main crux of the controversy over American beef, which is the zero detection rate of ractopamine, Terry Gou also said: "Zero detection rate is something only a fool would say, and it is also something that people without common sense would say." He believes that it is impossible to measure the same data using two instruments at different times on the same piece of beef. What the government should do is to set up importers of American beef, strictly establish control procedures, and strictly control them through health units. People can freely choose whether to eat or not.

Terry Gou also joked that if he were to do it, he would open up American beef to the market through bidding, and collect a few dollars from each piece of American beef for inspection and control. The restaurants selling American beef would be called "Come and eat if you're brave enough." As someone who attaches great importance to health, he would also go to eat there, as long as he didn't eat it every day.

Guo Taiming, who not only attaches importance to medical care but also emphasizes the importance of health care, said that in addition to the Formosa Stem Cell Center to treat patients with blood cancer, there is also a cancer hospital currently under construction. In particular, the Kanglian Health Diagnostic Center, which is currently invested in, is based on the concept of preventive medicine and health care to promote the health of the Chinese people.
