Experts explain the causes of ectopic pregnancy

According to the latest medical research, there are many factors related to the cause of ectopic pregnancy. In order to prevent ectopic pregnancy more scientifically, we must fully understand and recognize the causes of ectopic pregnancy. What are the common causes of ectopic pregnancy ? Let's talk about the common causes of ectopic pregnancy.

Common causes of ectopic pregnancy include:

1. Fallopian tube inflammation: Fallopian tube inflammation is the most common cause of ectopic pregnancy. About 60% of patients with fallopian tube pregnancy have a history of fallopian tube inflammation. Recurrent chronic fallopian tube inflammation causes adhesion of fallopian tube mucosal folds, stenosis of the lumen, damage to cilia, or twisting of the fallopian tube due to adhesion of inflammation to surrounding tissues, which can hinder the normal movement of the fertilized egg, so that the fertilized egg cannot reach the uterine cavity as scheduled and implants in the fallopian tube.

2. Abnormal development of the fallopian tube or after fallopian tube surgery: The fallopian tube is too long, the cilia of the mucosa of ectopic pregnancy are absent, or recanalization after fallopian tube ligation, fallopian tubeplasty, etc. are all common causes of ectopic pregnancy.

3. Migratory ovum: This is also a common cause of ectopic pregnancy. When one ovary ovulates, it migrates to the opposite fallopian tube through the uterine cavity or abdominal cavity after fertilization. This is called migratory ovum. As the ovum gradually grows during the migration process, when it cannot pass through the fallopian tube, that is, when it implants in the fallopian tube, tubal pregnancy occurs.

4. Abdominal pregnancy: If the fertilized egg implants and develops in the abdominal cavity, it is an abdominal pregnancy. It often occurs after a tubal pregnancy ruptures or abortion, and the fertilized embryo falls into the abdominal cavity and continues to grow on the peritoneum or the surface of other organs. In very few patients, abdominal pregnancy is primary. That is, the egg cell is fertilized and implanted directly in the abdominal cavity. The incidence of abdominal pregnancy is 1:15,000 births. These are all common causes of ectopic pregnancy.

The above is an introduction to the common causes of ectopic pregnancy. I believe everyone has some understanding of this. Once you suffer from ectopic pregnancy, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time to avoid serious delays in the condition.
