Experts teach you how to correctly diagnose cervical hypertrophy

Every patient should know about the diagnosis of cervical hypertrophy. There are three main methods for diagnosing cervical hypertrophy. Let's take a brief look at the diagnosis of cervical hypertrophy.

Cervical hypertrophy is diagnosed as follows:

1. Cervical hypertrophy is uniform, with no uneven nodules on the surface. Probe examination shows no deformation of the uterine cavity and no lumps are felt.

2. In the early stage of cervical hypertrophy, the symptoms are generally not obvious, only menorrhagia, and it should be distinguished from dysfunctional uterine bleeding, submucosal uterine fibroids, and adenomyosis. Routine B-ultrasound examination is required to avoid misdiagnosis.

3. Cervical hypertrophy often occurs in women around 40 years old, and often have a history of multiple births. Therefore, for multiple births with heavy vaginal bleeding, this disease should be considered first; but for older women (over 45 years old) or those with repeated bleeding and long-term treatment, diagnostic curettage and pathological examination should be performed to rule out endometrial malignancy.

The above is the diagnosis method of cervical hypertrophy, I hope it will be helpful to you. If you want to know more about the diagnosis method of cervical hypertrophy, please consult our online experts, who will give you detailed answers.
