According to Medical Daily, citing the Journal of Nutrition, Loma Linda University studied 26 overweight adults, asking them to add half an avocado to their lunch diet. The blood sugar and insulin index of each subject were tested before and after lunch, and they were asked about their level of fullness 3 and 5 hours after the meal. The results showed that eating half an avocado at lunch every day reduced the desire for snacks by 40% within 3 hours after the meal and by 28% within 5 hours after the meal.

Do you always feel like eating some snacks between meals? Try eating some avocado for lunch. It will not make you fat but will also make you feel full.

Researchers said that the level of fullness is a very important factor in weight management. People who are easily full will naturally reduce their desire to eat snacks. The results of the study showed that eating avocados is a way to help control blood sugar and increase satiety. Although adding avocados to lunch also increases calorie intake, the blood sugar levels of the subjects were not much different from those of a normal lunch.

One avocado, which contains approximately 230 calories, contains 21 grams of monounsaturated fatty acids, which can prevent disease and promote skin radiance.

In addition, avocados are rich in phenolic compounds and Omega-3 fatty acids, which can provide good anti-inflammatory effects. Many diseases in the body are related to chronic inflammation. If left untreated, it may cause many chronic diseases in the body. Therefore, eating more avocados on a daily basis is an excellent recommended fruit to avoid inflammation.
