The Taipei City Health Bureau held a healthy weight management results presentation this morning, the 4th, showcasing the results of improvements in the obesity prevention environment in 12 districts of Taipei City. Liang Jiayun, who works in the cram school industry, did not rely on diet pills or folk remedies. She insisted on exercising for 2 hours a day in half a year, followed a low-fat and low-salt diet, and gave up the temptation of "midnight snacks", her nightmare for weight loss, and successfully lost 30 kilograms.

Liang Jiayun mentioned that when she was facing the pressure of the joint entrance examination in high school, she relied on eating snacks to vent her stress, and her weight gradually increased. I have tried going to a weight loss clinic and taking diet pills to suppress my appetite to lose weight. I successfully lost more than 20 kilograms in half a year of taking the medicine, but the side effects such as severe palpitations and constipation were too much for me to bear. As soon as I stopped taking the medicine, I became even heavier than before, setting a record of 92 kilograms, the heaviest weight in my life, and I could never lose weight again.

She had been in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend for many years, but because his parents didn't like her, they always quarreled about it. My unhappy relationship came to an end in June this year, so I learned from the pain and wanted to prove that I can live a healthier and more exciting life. First of all, start with diet. Have a boiled egg for breakfast every day, and mainly boiled vegetables, boiled meat, tofu, etc. for lunch and dinner to supplement nutrition. The most important thing is persistent exercise, such as riding a bicycle, climbing stairs, doing sit-ups, mountain climbing, etc.

Liang Jiayun said that at the beginning she would go out and ride around the bicycle path in New Taipei City for 1.5 hours every day, combined with doing sit-ups and leg lifts indoors. When I lost 15 kg and my weight reached 77 kg, I suddenly encountered a "weight loss plateau". I was determined to increase my exercise to 2 hours, and only then did I say goodbye to the plateau and my weight continued to drop. When I weighed myself this morning at the results presentation, I weighed 61.3 kg.

"Weighing yourself every day, exercising regularly, and controlling your diet are the three main ways to lose weight!" said Liang Jiayun. I also use the "Taipei Weight Management APP" provided by the Taipei City Health Bureau to help me set a daily weight loss plan and facilitate weight management records. She also jokingly said, "It's nice to lose weight."

In addition, the weight loss results hospital group was won by the Taipei Municipal United Hospital Ren'ai Branch with a weight loss of 3.6 tons; the workplace group was won by the Songshan Health Promotion Association with a weight loss of 3.1 tons. Li Jiarong, a community nurse at the Ren Ai campus, said that the hospital provides free sports courses such as Pilates, belly dancing, aerobics, etc., plus 600-calorie low-calorie lunch boxes specially prepared by the nutrition department and regular Chinese and Western medicine weight loss lectures. A multi-pronged approach has achieved good results.

Zhou Wenpei, CEO of the Songshan Health Promotion Association, mentioned that they have been working with many restaurants in Songshan District to plan calorie labels and strengthen the design of low-calorie foods.
