What are the symptoms of a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst? How to treat it?

Hemorrhagic ovarian cyst is one of the classifications of ovarian cysts and is a common disease that endangers women's health. If patients with hemorrhagic ovarian cysts must be examined and treated in time, hemorrhagic ovarian cysts are one of the common gynecological diseases in young women.

Specific symptoms of hemorrhagic ovarian cysts include:

1. Increased waist circumference

Patients realize that their clothes or belts look tight, only to notice an enlarged abdomen, or occasionally feel it in the morning, so they press on their abdomen and find swelling, plus discomfort from bloating.

2. Abdominal mass

If the abdominal mass has no complications or malignant changes, its main feature is activity, which can usually be transferred from the pelvic cavity to the abdominal cavity. The mass is usually painless, but if there are complications or malignant changes, not only the mass itself is tender, but also symptoms of peritoneal irritation.

3. Lower abdominal discomfort

This is the initial symptom before the patient touches the lower abdominal mass. Due to the weight of the tumor itself and the influence of intestinal peristalsis and posture changes, the pelvic movement of the tumor involves its pedicle and pelvic funnel ligament, causing swelling and descent of the lower abdomen or bone fossa.

4. Menstrual disorders

Generally, ovarian cysts, even bilateral ovarian cysts, do not cause menstrual disorders because they do not destroy all normal ovarian tissues. Some uterine bleeding is not endocrine, but may be caused by ovarian tumors that change the pelvic blood vessels, causing endometrial congestion; or by ovarian malignant tumors that directly metastasize to the endometrium. Menstrual disorders caused by endocrine tumors are often combined with other endocrine influences.
