What should women pay attention to when using Kang suppositories for cervicitis? 7 principles of using Kang suppositories for cervicitis

Gongjingyankang suppository is a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of chronic cervical erosion. It is an external-use suppository. It has a good therapeutic and relieving effect on patients with excessive vaginal discharge with odor, or symptoms such as low back pain. It also has the effect of treating vaginal itching. When using Gongjingyankang suppository, some precautions should be taken. Do not squeeze it hard. In addition, it is an external-use medicine and cannot be taken orally.

Precautions

1. If you find that the suppository becomes soft, do not squeeze it. You can put the suppository in cold water or refrigerator for 5-10 minutes before using the medicine. The change of the suppository's appearance will not affect the efficacy.

2. For external use only, oral administration is prohibited.

3. It is best not to use this product three days before menstruation.

4. The suppository must be pushed deep into the posterior fornix of the vagina (one finger deep from the vaginal opening) and kept still for a period of time (1-2 hours) to prevent the drug from melting and overflowing from the body, causing itching, burning and redness of the vulva.

5. This product is a fat-soluble suppository. After the drug dissolves in the vagina, most of the time it will form a drug film covering the lesions. After releasing the drug power, the drug film will appear as a film, sheet, block or mass in milky white, egg yolk or dark red colors. It will fall off and be discharged 48 hours after taking the medicine. This is a normal drug excretion process.

6. If the drug film does not come out of the vagina by itself 48 hours after taking the medicine, you can flush it with warm water or take a sitz bath to expel the drug film to avoid the drug film blocking the vagina and causing discomfort.

7. If redness, swelling or bleeding occurs during medication, the medication should be suspended and a doctor or manufacturer should be consulted. Main efficacy: It is used for the treatment of chronic cervical erosion, which is a leucorrhea with damp-heat syndrome. Symptoms: large amount of leucorrhea, yellow pus, or blood, foul odor, low back pain, waist and abdominal distension, bitter mouth, dry mouth, yellow urine, dry stool, vaginal itching, etc. Usage and dosage: Vaginal administration. Start taking the medicine 2 to 3 days after the menstruation is over, one pill at a time, and take the medicine once every other day. Continuous medication for 10 times is a course of treatment. Usage: Take 1 tablet of Gongjingyankang suppository before going to bed at night, put on the finger cot, lie flat, bend your knees, with the tip of the suppository facing inward, and place the suppository in the posterior vault of the vagina with your fingers (one finger deep in the vaginal opening, see the diagram of Gongjingyankang suppository).
