Nursing intervention for patients with Bartholinitis

Bartholinitis is a disease that usually occurs in women who have just given birth, but unmarried women cannot be ruled out. Female friends should pay attention to it. For the sake of their own health, they should understand the causes of bartholinitis and remember the treatments of bartholinitis. They hope to take care of their bodies in the future to avoid unnecessary pain. Caring for their own health is the most important responsibility of every woman.

Nowadays, many unmarried girls also suffer from Bartholinitis. This is mainly because some women do not pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva, often touch their vulva with dirty hands, and do not maintain good hygiene habits. This will lead to bacterial invasion and cause Bartholinitis. We must clean the vulva in time and change underwear frequently to prevent the reproduction of bacteria at the vaginal opening.

The main cause of Bartholinitis is unclean sexual life. If the husband has diseases such as foreskin that is too long or smegma, after sexual intercourse, bacteria will invade the female's genitals, which will lead to the occurrence of Bartholinitis.

To treat the Bartholin's glands, we can use topical medications for treatment. For example, the most common ones are Bactroban and erythromycin ointment. These two drugs can effectively control inflammation and improve pain symptoms. Generally, they can be used according to the instructions of the drugs. Before that, you can use potassium permanganate for a sitz bath, and then apply topical medications after drying. The effect will be better.

Once Bartholinitis occurs, in addition to active treatment, you must also maintain good living habits, develop the good habit of going to bed early and getting up early, avoid staying up late for a long time, do not always eat seafood or spicy food, avoid unclean sex, do not have sex during the treatment period, and be responsible for your own health.
