How to prevent cervical precancerous lesions at an early stage? Cervical precancerous lesions mainly need to pay attention to early prevention, early detection and early treatment. As the condition worsens, the following symptoms may appear: increased vaginal discharge, changes in color, possible blood streaks and odor. Abnormal vaginal bleeding, menstrual abnormalities, bleeding after sexual intercourse, bleeding after menopause, etc., all indicate that something may be wrong and should be checked by an obstetrician and gynecologist.

Usually, you may experience abdominal pain, a heavy feeling, or residual urine or hematuria. Weight loss, poor appetite, and abnormal urination and defecation are all signs of cancer and you should be more careful.

2. Cervical smear cytology examination

Cervical smear cytology is currently the most widely used and effective cancer prevention method. Gently collect some secretions from the vagina and cervix of women, smear them on a glass slide, stain them, and place them under a microscope for examination to screen for the possibility of cervical precancerous lesions. Experts say that this test is very simple, painless and highly accurate. The test process only takes about 3 minutes. If there are suspicious cancer cells, further examination will be conducted. Women over 30 years old are recommended to have this test regularly every year.

3. Precautions for preventing cervical precancerous lesions: Women should pay attention to the following when doing cervical smear cytology examination:

1. During menstruation, blood will interfere with the interpretation of smears and is not suitable for examination.

2. Before the examination, avoid taking a bath to clean the vagina to prevent the abnormal cells in the vagina from being washed away, resulting in insufficient smear specimens and affecting the diagnosis.

Cervical smear cytology is the main method for screening cervical precancerous lesions in the general population, and plays a great role in the prevention of diseases.
