What are the characteristics of serous ovarian cysts? Three characteristics should be understood

What are the characteristics of a serous ovarian cyst?

1. Serous benign cystadenomas are mostly unilateral, but serous cystadenomas are more common in other epithelial tumors. Symptoms are not obvious when bilateral tumors are small, but may cause compression symptoms when they grow larger, and acute abdominal pain when the pedicle is twisted or the tumor is infected.

Nipple growth, especially superficial nipple exogenesis, should pay attention to pathological diagnosis and malignant differentiation. Tumor marker detection CA125 is helpful for identification. The malignant transformation rate is about 35%, but serous adenofibromas with a higher rate of nipple malignancy rarely have endocrine disorders.

2. In addition to the symptoms of pelvic tumors, borderline serous tumors have a greater chance of spreading outside the ovaries, and the nipples are prone to sprouting and proliferating, falling off and implanting, or causing complications such as ascites and intestinal adhesions.

3. Serous carcinoma Because the ovary is deep in the pelvic cavity, the tumor is small in the early stage, and it is difficult to have symptoms without metastasis or complications. Once ascites or metastasis occurs, abdominal distension and gastrointestinal symptoms such as indigestion or difficulty in defecation will occur. Due to the size and location of the tumor, there may be hidden pain or compression symptoms such as difficulty or poor urination. Gynecological tumor patients emphasize that a triple diagnosis must be performed, especially for postmenopausal women. Due to the shallowness of the vaginal vault, it is not easy to find the tumor with a double diagnosis, especially the gynecological triple diagnosis examination. The presence of metastatic nodules in the vault after the examination often makes it easy to find the tumor.
