The gluten-free diet therapy that Miley Cyrus follows is actually a starch-free weight loss method. Not eating starchy foods can indeed reduce calorie intake and achieve the goal of weight loss.

But in fact, gluten-containing starches are rich in B complex, which helps the body metabolize calories. Sufficient intake of B complex is very helpful for weight control. Brown rice and whole grain rice, which are commonly eaten by some people, are good sources of B vitamins. In addition, consuming a moderate amount of starch can actually satisfy a sense of fullness and reduce excessive hunger during the weight loss process. If you don't eat at all, you'll be more likely to become hungry and gain weight again.

Rihanna: Eat ice cream to lose weight

Rihanna's personal trainer Ary Nunez revealed that soft serve ice cream is her favorite food and she cannot give it up even when she is losing weight.
